Sandringham Pageant of Motoring – 2025 By Steve Everest
Sunday 25th May saw a group of us taking part in the Sandringham Pageant of Motoring event. Our social secretary, Joanna Hill, had booked a club stand for us. We had nine cars on our stand; there were 2 Sprites and 7 Big Healeys. We also had a stray Triumph TR4 with us. As Terry Sprosson’s 100 had developed a fuel pump problem when he tried to start it, he came along in his Triumph.
As is often the case when it comes to attending an event, the recent long spell of dry and fine weather was of course getting a bit unreliable. However, we did get lucky in the fact that we got the Club event shelter up before a short sharp shower. Thankfully, that was the only rain we had during the day.

Our cars were very popular with the visiting public, and we had a steady flow of people coming to see them during the day. It would have been so much better if we could have had more cars on the stand. We had space for 20 cars. We try and give as much notice as possible for all events that are planned. So, please do try and attend some of the events advertised on our Centre website and the national Austin Healey Club website www.austinhealeyclub.com
